A Sussex van company is looking to the Continent for new business.
Having made a success of its conventional van hire business Eurovans is now turning its attention to the holiday market.
The Volkswagen business, which has centres in Brighton, Eastbourne and Crawley, is launching its campervans rental service to holidaymakers who are planning breaks in the UK and across the channel.
Speaking of the new service Eddie Wright, Eurovans head of business, said: “You could say we have opened up the holiday side of the business by public demand.
“We have had a lot of customers asking about hiring the Volkswagen California’s for their holidays so we decided to expand our rental service and cater for their needs.”
The Volkswagen’s California features a fully functional kitchen and room to sleep up to four adults. It includes a manual pop up roof to reveal a double bed and mattress on sprung slats and the rear passenger seat makes room for two more adults to sleep in the vehicle itself.
Two chairs can be stowed in the tailgate, and there are front swiveling seats and a table that folds away neatly into the side sliding door.
Eddie added: “The Volkswagen California is surprising spacious and offers flexibility to explore parks, beaches and nature reserves all in one holiday whether it’s in the UK or broad.”
