A West Yorkshire retailer is continuing to boost its local business links, after signing a deal with Bradford-based Safestyle UK.
The window and doors specialist has just taken delivery of nine new Volkswagen Caddy vans from Volkswagen Van Centre (West Yorkshire) in Cleckheaton.
Included in the order is the possibility of further van orders from Safestyle UK, which currently operates a fleet of 250 vans across the UK.
Andy Kyle, Safestyle UK’s head of transport, said: “It’s vital we choose the right vehicles for the work the company does, including the price and looks.
“Safestyle UK currently runs a number of Volkswagen Golf cars with the same engine as the Caddy. The feedback on the engine, reliability and running costs of the Golfs, meant choosing Volkswagen was relatively straightforward.
“The clinching factor was the customer service we received from Volkswagen Van Centre (West Yorkshire).”
Andrew Caygill, director at Volkswagen Van Centre (West Yorkshire), said: “This is another fantastic local account win for the company and provides evidence of our customer service excellence standards.
“We hope to provide Safestyle UK with more vehicles in the future.”
