A local Volkswagen retailer has doubled in size after undergoing a £800,000 refurbishment at their premises on Sproughton Road.
Ipswich Volkswagen, formerly known as Wolsey Volkswagen, invested the substantial sum to create a larger state-of-the-art showroom and hi-tech workshop for their customers to utilise.
The eye-catching new facility, which is due to open next month, provides the contemporary surroundings that are synonymous with the instantly recognisable Volkswagen brand.
Ipswich Volkswagen’s brand manager, Tim Hargraves, explained: “It is very satisfying to finally see the transformation complete. Both myself and my team are extremely proud of our new facility which will offer a relaxed and welcoming space for our new and existing customers.

The spacious new interior has the capacity to display up to 10 different models as well as accommodate an improved hospitality and servicing area, the latest digital technology, an enlarged Approved Used Volkswagen display and improved customer parking.
Tim added: “While we are now open for business, and welcome customers to come and see our new premises for themselves, we are continuing to add our finishing touches to the showroom and we hope our customers will bear with us during this time. ”
