A Kirkcaldy manager has won a trip to Marbella after his team made it into the top 15 sales departments in the Volkswagen network.
Sales manager, Chris Smith at Specialist Cars Kirkcaldy, will be heading to the Spanish city on April 1st for three days along with 24 other top sales managers across the country.
The Caxton Place retailer was recognised by Volkswagen UK for its outstanding performance in sales in the One Business Awards earlier this year, finishing eleventh out of 207 sites nationwide.
The rankings are based on Volkswagen’s ‘one business scorecard’, which monitors and measures each dealership’s performance across new and used car sales.
Chris Smith, Specialist Cars Kirkcaldy’s sales manager, said: “I’m delighted the business has achieved such a high position in the country for the fifth consecutive year.
“These trips are a great incentive to keep on delivering the high levels of service to our customers. In the first couple of years we were taken to Cyprus and Tenerife. More recently we went to Iceland and Finland, where it was as cold as -35 degrees so I’m definitely looking forward going back to a sunnier climate.”
