Double boost for Guildford retailer

A Guildford retailer has boosted its business by promoting two of its senior staff.

Neil Lines moves from sales manager to brand manager and Stewart Cox from sales controller to sales manager at Colbornes Volkswagen, as the business continues to reward its staff.

The duo, from Camberley, have almost 25 years’ experience in the automotive industry with various manufacturers across Surrey

Speaking of his promotion, 37-year-old Neil, said: “I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of my job and am delighted my career has reached new heights.

“I want to continue the excellent work from my predecessor and provide customers with a service they expect from a prestigious brand.”

Stewart (31) has developed his career quickly since joining the retailer in 2004, after spending five years managing men’s designer fashion outlets.

He said: “I’m very grateful to Colbornes for allowing my career to thrive in such a short space of time.

“It’s a privilege to work with an established and respected brand, and have great people to work alongside.”

Colbornes’ managing director, John Walsh, said “We are thrilled both Neil and Stewart have accepted their new posts, as both have shown dedication and enthusiasm for the company.

“They are both great assets to Colbornes Volkswagen and we hope this shows our commitment to providing further career opportunities for all our staff.”
