Yale Takes Materials Handling to the Next Level

Taking materials handling to the next level, Yale Europe Materials Handling hosted a three day seminar and launch event for its independent dealer network, customers and press at the company’s warehouse equipment manufacturing facility in Masate this June.

Over 200 guests took part in the event where the latest electric battery powered models from Yale were launched. These included warehouse series the MR reach truck, MO low level order picker and MO50T tow tractor, and the VA, VC and VM series of electric counterbalance forklift trucks.

Throughout the event delegates took part in practical workshops on the application of the Yale Warehouse Simulator and the features and benefits of the new products. There was an opportunity for delegates to familiarise themselves with key features of the new products that provide the best in ergonomics, productivity and energy consumption.

Dealers were introduced to new members of the Yale family which included Briggs Equipment from the UK, UST in Russia, Emtor in Poland, Horoscope in Hungary, Romania and Serbia and Demolin and Vitamotor and Oman in France.

Yale Brand Manager, Steve Ridgway, said:

“During the global economic slowdown the company continued to devote funds to new product development and in addition invested over €2 million in 2010 in the new Masate VNA facility. Holding the event in the new building allowed us to demonstrate this first hand to some of our prospect customers and the industry at large through the press.

“Yale will continue to ensure that new product and people development remains a focus for the company, customers and its dealer network. The result will be people and products focused on providing customers with practical solutions to increase productivity, decrease operating costs and provide a more comfortable environment for operators of Yale materials handling equipment.”
