HiQ franchise setting the pace with Midlands motorsport champion

An Erdington fast fit centre is setting the pace with one of the region’s quickest and most exciting racing drivers, courtesy of an exciting new sponsorship deal.

HiQ Erdington has agreed to back Lichfield based Adam Christodolou in his quest for glory in the McLaren 24 Hour Series this season.

The garage, based in Bromford Lane decided to sponsor the Formula Renault and Star Mazda champion, after the driver made regular pit stops at HiQ as a customer.

Franchise Easy Tyre & Autocentres agreed to give the 22 year-old HiQ’s full support and the garage’s name will now be on Adam’s door as he strives to beat over 70 cars and dozens on manufacturers in his next McLaren 24 hour series outing.

Adam said: “I am so grateful to everyone connected with the centre for sponsoring me. Without this generosity and support I simply wouldn’t be able to take my place on the grid, so I really appreciate the kind gesture.

“It is great to have the backing of a big local business that I know so well. With HiQ’s automotive expertise, I might even be able to pass on one or two tips to my pit crew as well!”

Marketing manager Emma-Jane Kisby said: “Not many of customers can claim to be motorsport champions with legions of fans, so when Adam came in for a recent car service, we were keen to offer our support.

“He is putting Lichfield and the Midlands region on the map thanks to his motorsport exploits, so we were only too pleased to be able to offer him some assistance.”
