HiQ rocks up for more pink fundraising

The HiQ fast fit network has pinpointed the Rockingham race circuit as its next fundraising destination as it attempts to build on its Oulton Park success story when raising £5,000 for Breast Cancer Care.

The Teams’ Championship sponsors are hoping to up the ante at Rockingham circuit and raise as much money as possible for the charity, to inch closer to their £100k target.

The HiQ team will be on hand to giveaway the iconic HiQ pink hats as well as the new to 2011, ‘nuts about BTCC’ headgear and large foam spanners, each in return for a small donation.

And of course, the HiQ pink ladies won’t go amiss in their pink race suits, helping out with the fundraising extravaganza.

Geraldine McGovern, HiQ’s marketing manager said: “We are really looking forward to Rockingham and raising as much money as possible.

“We were overwhelmed with the public’s generosity at Oulton Park and it’d be great if we could raise even more as it all goes to such a great cause.

“We have managed to raise over £70,000 so far and it is with great thanks to the fans who always manage to dig deep and donate.

“We hope to see everyone at Rockingham for some more fundraising fun.”

HiQ has been raising money for Breast Cancer Care for the past two years in their Project Pink programme. For more information, visit www.hiqonline.co.uk/projectpink.
