A Wrexham company has welcomed a new head of business who is keen to get involved with the community.
Andy Banks is the new brand manager at Wrexham Volkswagen and the 49-year old is looking forward to the challenge of improving the business and increasing its involvement in the surrounding area.
He has worked in the automotive industry for 17 years and previously worked 15 years in the marketing industry before his move to Wrexham Volkswagen.
In addition to boosting the team, Andy is keen to support local charities, schools and groups and urges anyone to get in touch if they think Wrexham Volkswagen could help them.
The father of three, said: “I’m looking forward to working at Wrexham Volkswagen and the first job on my list is getting to know all the staff and customers.
“I’m very keen to place Wrexham Volkswagen as an integral part of the community and urge any local groups, schools or charities to get in touch if they feel we could support them.
“I’m very passionate about sourcing locally whether that is where our milk comes from or staff, it important that as a business we do our part.”
