An Aberdeen business has given a pre-season boost to a local football club by confirming a shirt sponsorship deal.
Volkswagen retailer, Specialist Cars Aberdeen, has provided new football kits for Culter Boys Club under-19’s, which will be worn throughout the 2011/2012 season.
The club, which was founded in 1983, has grown considerably and now runs 17 teams in total. It has also been officially recognised by the Scottish FA for its high standards of football coaching.
Cath Brown, Culter Boys Football Club’s secretary, explained that the sponsorship deal had given the team a huge boost.
She said: “The boys are delighted with their new kits and very proud to be associated with Specialist Cars Aberdeen and the Volkswagen brand.
“They’ve worked exceptionally hard last season and this new sponsorship deal is reward for their efforts.”
Ashleigh Wood, from Specialist Cars Aberdeen, said: “We feel it’s important to show our support to local groups that serve our community and Culter Boys Club has been doing this for many years.
“We wish them the best of luck for the coming season.”
