Cool customer turns to Volkswagen

Refrigeration and air conditioning company has turned to Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles for its 24-hour operational needs.

Gilder Van Centre has supplied Bradley Refrigeration with a range of seven Volkswagen vans forming part of its national service and maintenance fleet.

The Sheffield-based business provides air-conditioning and refrigeration units to the hospitals, leisure, agricultural and healthcare industries. The company operates a 24-hour emergency call-out and maintenance service and required a reliable fleet to meet demand.

“Reliability is integral to our business success,” explains Bradley Refrigeration’s managing director, Philip Bradley.

“When working with hospitals and blood banks it is essential we can meet their requirements efficiently.

“For the past 57 years we have used Gilder for our fleet of Volkswagen passenger cars. The brands reliability is renowned and coupled with the excellent service package arranged by Gilder Van Centre, it seemed the obvious choice to introduce the commercial vehicle range.”

The Volkswagen Transporters will be used by the service engineers whereas the larger Crafter model will support the needs of the agricultural division of the business.

David May, head of business at Gilder Van Centre, said: “We always aim to work closely with our customers to create a package that meets their needs.

“The support package for Bradley Refrigeration will help minimise any downtime and keep its 24-hour service promise fully operational.”
