So far, so good for HiQ Tunbridge Wells

A brand new Tunbridge Wells fast fit centre has defied challenging economic conditions to grow its business during the second half of 2011.

Keith Hancock and Matthew Stone opened an impressive HiQ centre on Stag Road on June 1st as part of a larger business venture to open HiQ centres throughout Kent and the eastern areas of Sussex and Surrey.

And in even more good news for the centre, technician Luke Crofts, aged 30, has also become one of the first in the county to pass a rigorous Automotive Technician Accreditation (ATA), in another success story for the business.

The Maidstone worker’s details are now listed on the ATA website which allows consumers to search for their nearest garage with registered technicians, giving peace of mind that work will be carried out correctly.

Keith said: “We have enjoyed a cracking first six months of trading so far. The current economic climate certainly makes for interesting times, but we are finding that more motorists are repairing and maintaining their existing vehicles instead of purchasing a new one.

“In many ways it is a perfect time for us to have opened as demand for sensibly priced, high quality, reliable and trustworthy service has never been greater.

“This is where we can offer a reassuring, cost effective solution to motorists. We are enjoying a healthy period of growth and we are confident that this trend will continue into 2012.

Our commitment to ATA accreditation for our staff demonstrates how we want to be different both now and in the future.

“The HiQ team boasts 80 years of experience combined in the motor business and are using this together with specialist skills to provide a comprehensive service to their customers – whatever their motoring needs.”
