A sales executive from Coedpoeth is celebrating after winning an exclusive annual award for the third time.
Arash Shayestehroo, who works at Wrexham Volkswagen, was presented with the title of Sales Executive of the Year by the Swansway Group, which operates 13 automotive sites across the Northwest and Midlands.
The third time winner scooped the accolade despite having an interruption to his consecutive record bid, in the form of new addition to his family.
The 31-year-old, who became a father for the first time, beat over 70 other sales executives to win the award by selling almost 300 cars in 2011.
He said: “I’m delighted to have won this award again, although it was very close towards the end. The birth of my son meant that I was away from work for half a month, which is quite a long time in terms of sales.
“I thoroughly enjoy my job, and focus primarily on understanding my customers’ needs.
“I’m now continuing to focus on delivering what our customers want in 2012, and defending my crown!”
Wrexham Volkswagen’s brand manager, Andy Banks, said: “Arash had a fantastic year and clearly deserves this award.
“His achievement demonstrates that sales staff at Wrexham Volkswagen provide customers with a service they appreciate. In the current economic climate, it’s vital for businesses to ensure consumers are pleased with the service they receive.”
