Van centre helps Crawley Town kick off the season

There will be no excuses for not getting to away games on time for players at Crawley Town Football Club next season – after being presented with a new £40,000 club bus.

The 17-seater Volkswagen Crafter is part of an ongoing sponsorship deal with Eurovans Volkswagen Van Centre in Crawley and will primarily be used to support the youth teams, taking them to and from away matches.

The new vehicle, which replaces the club’s Volkswagen LT Minibus supplied by Eurovans, displays Crawley Town FC’s new logo.

Eddie Wright, Eurovans’ Volkswagen Van Centre’s head of business, said the company was very happy to continue its sponsor of the football club.

He said: “We believe it’s important to support local clubs and community group where we can and are delighted with Crawley Town’s performance this season.

“The new Crafter was launched last year and comes with the latest in fuel efficiency technology so we feel confident that the team will enjoy the cost saving benefits throughout the 2012 – 2013 season.”

Ewan Dunlop, the club’s commercial manager, said they had a long standing relationship with Mr Wright and Eurovans Volkswagen Van Centre and wanted to thank them for their support.
