A Wigan car retailer more than doubled its business during a recent weekend event.
Corkills Volkswagen hosted a Blockbusters event and saw its car sales increase by 180 per cent.
The event, which offered customers considerable saving on its new and used vehicles also saw a lucky couple drive away with a luxury two night trip to London
Keith and Sandra Jones from Burscough visited Corkills Volkswagen in Wigan during its weekend event and came away with a luxury two night trip to London.
Keith said: “We had gone to look at the new Volkswagen up! as it was time to replace our old one and we liked the new cars’ look and fuel economy benefits. We filled in the entry form and didn’t give it a second thought.
“When we got the call to say we had won, we just didn’t believe it.
“Our prize included flights to London, two nights at the Kensington Hilton Hotel and theatre tickets for a show of our choice. We were over the moon.
The Wallgate business is delighted with the success of its blockbuster event, as brand manager, Jacqui Kaye, explained.
She said: “We wanted to make the event special and felt the luxury trip was the perfect solution. We’re delighted for Keith and Sandra and hope they have a fantastic trip to London.
