A local couple are celebrating after scooping £1,000 voucher to spend at furniture retailer Cookes.
Felix and Claire Hughes from Sutton Coldfield took part in the prize draw and were overwhelmed when they were contacted with the news.
Cookes Furniture held an online and in-store competition to celebrate managing director Graham Cooke’s 60th birthday, rewarding the winner with a £1,000 voucher to spend in one of their two stores. With over 1,000 entries a Birmingham couple were selected as the winners.
Felix Hughes, said: “We are absolutely delighted to receive this £1,000 voucher. It could not have come at a better time as we are currently in the process of redecorating our home and adding some new touches.
“Over the years we have bought many furniture items from Cookes. We have consistently found them to have the best selection of quality brands at good prices.
“Importantly for us, visiting the store is always a pleasure for shopping with a great atmosphere, knowledgeable and helpful staff. If only all shopping was this pleasurable.”
