Leading Midlands law firm Higgs & Sons has appointed a new solicitor in its family department.
Hannah Nicholls joins Higgs from Wallace Robinson Morgan in Solihull, where she has practised family law since qualifying.
As part of her remit at Higgs, Hannah will focus on all aspects of relationship breakdown, divorce and the division of assets upon separation. She has particular experience in cohabitation disputes and advising on matters relating to children, including applications for residence and contact. Hannah also assists on cases involving significant assets, often with an international element and in cases involving wealth protection and family trusts.
Speaking of her appointment, Hannah said: “The family department at Higgs has built up a strong reputation across the region. I’m delighted to be joining the firm and hope to help the department support even more clients in the future.”
Philip Barnsley heads the family department. He said: “We pride ourselves on partnering clients through some of their most difficult times and the appointment of Hannah will help to strengthen the team and allow us to support even more clients.”
Hannah is a practising member of Resolution and also sits on the committee for Young Resolution in the West Midlands. Outside of work, Hannah is a strong runner, completing half marathons for Cancer Research.
