A Bridgend football team will dazzle crowds this season after securing a brand new sponsorship deal with a local business.
Brackla Junior Football Club has confirmed a sponsorship deal with Sinclair Volkswagen in Bridgend, which sees the under 11s squad receive a new kit, including shirts, shorts and socks.
Team coach, Kevin Llewellyn, said: “Finding suitable sponsorship can be hard to come by, especially in the current climate, which is why we are so grateful to everyone at Sinclair Volkswagen.
“One of our players father works at Sinclair Volkswagen so he was able to help organise the sponsorship.
“The children have been so excited about the new kit and when they all got to try it on, everyone couldn’t stop smiling.
“The team is very proud to wear a Volkswagen emblem on their shirts as it makes them feel like professional players wearing such a prominent brand.”
Clive Williams, brand manager at Sinclair Volkswagen in Bridgend, said: “We feel it’s important to support the local community in any way we can.
“We wish both the team the very best of luck for the season ahead.”
