A Wirral retailer is investing a considerable amount of money to improve its facilities and make life more comfortable for customers.
The new development at Dane Volkswagen in Bromborough will include a brand new state of the art digital showroom to cater for ten cars, where customers can design their own car on an iPad.
The facility on Pool Lane is currently undergoing the major structural work including new customer-focused amenities integrated within the showroom, extra customer parking and at least two new technician roles in the workshop.
It will remain fully open for business during the refurbishment, with work scheduled to be completed in mid-April, and brand manager Martin Donnelly is hoping to add more staff to the sales team once the refurbishment is complete.
He said: “We are investing a great deal of money to expand our business which will make the experience for our customers much more beneficial.
“Not only will we feature more vehicles in the showroom, but all departments within the business will be working in a combined area, with the customer areas being a key part of this.
“The level of investment shows our commitment to continue providing the Wirral with a key employer and deliver customers with the level of service expected from such a prestigious brand.”
Once work is complete the new showroom will be home to the latest Volkswagen Golf VII, along with the new award winning city car, the up!
Martin added: “The workshop will have two extra ramps to improve the time customer’s cars are with us and this opens the opportunity to recruit two new technicians.
“For customers buying a new car, we will have a dedicated handover bay, to ensure each person has a detailed lesson on their car and its functions.”
