Easter fun for Nottingham school children

Children from Jeffries Primary and Nursery School used their riddle-busting skills to find chocolate goodies thanks to Persimmon Homes North Midlands.

16 children aged five to eleven joined the Easter egg hunt as the leading housebuilder put on the event at Persimmon Gardens in Kirkby-in-Ashfield.

Staff at the development set a series of rhyming riddles to take the children on a journey through the development and into the showhome.

Sophie Cherry, a sales advisor for Persimmon Homes, said: “We wanted to do something with the children who live in Kirkby-in-Ashfield as they are an important part of the local community.

“We had lots of fun setting the clues, which had children looking in cupboards and searching behind the sofa.  Everyone including the staff had a great time and it was lovely to see the children with their eggs  at the end of the hunt – they had earned them!”

Persimmon Gardens in Kirkby-in-Ashfield is an exciting new development offering one, two, three and four bedroom properties aimed at the region’s first time buyers and growing families.  Schemes such as the Government’s new Help to Buy initiative are available to help buyers easily own a new home.
