Housebuilder invests in skills and training

Leading housebuilder Persimmon Homes has significantly increased its team in Lancashire and Cumbria with a number of key appointments, underlining its commitment to the region.

So far this year, the company had recruited five new sales advisors and two trainee sales advisors, as it expands operations across more new homes developments.

Sales director Diane Finch said: “Despite the challenges thrown up by economic uncertainty over the past few years, Persimmon Homes Lancashire continues to serve the region with quality new homes developments.

“From our regional headquarters in Lancaster, we currently operate on 20 sites, with a further four new outlets due to open in the coming weeks.

“To ensure the ongoing success of the company, Persimmon Lancashire has made key appointments to strengthen its sales teams – and we continue to recruit, ensuring we invest in the skills we need to grow the business.”

Joining the Persimmon team are trainee sales advisors Natasha Hanson and Andrew Henshaw, along with sales advisors Dawn McLuckie, Jenna Ryan, Jillian Howard, Elaine Green and Kim Jones, all of whom are undergoing a comprehensive induction and training programme administered by training consultant Patti Bailey.

Patti said: “Excellent customer service is vital for Persimmon Homes, where sales advisors are often the first point of contact for prospective buyers.

“I was very impressed with the new recruits, who were given a thorough introduction to the company and their role at its developments. They will also receive ongoing training to keep them up-to-date on the many assistance schemes and finance offers available, so they are able to support purchasers throughout the process of house buying.

“I’m sure they will all love being part of Persimmon Homes and look forward to hearing how they are contributing to the success of the company.”

Diane Finch added: “With so many new developments opening this year, we are excited to be joined by lots of fresh team members. It gives us a great boost to see so many new faces in the company – and reap the benefits of all their talents.”
