New Higgs & Sons appointment will support client care

A leading Midlands law firm has appointed a new IT case workflow developer, as it continues to invest in improved production and delivery.

Laura Rudd has joined Higgs & Sons where she will initially be focussed on a project surrounding case management work flows for personal injury following numerous recent law reforms.  Laura has previously held developer roles at Clarke Willmott, BPE Homemove and Keoghs and has consulted at Veale Wasborough Vizards and Warwickshire County Council.

The long term view, once this initial phase has been implemented, will see her extending her skills and expertise throughout the firm. Laura will assist Higgs’ IT director Stephen Brown.

Stephen said: “Laura has a wealth of knowledge in process development and case management workflow, and this will enable us to improve efficiencies and service standards for all our clients.  In her previous roles she has developed applications for personal injury, residential conveyancing, planning and development, debt recovery and family law teams.

“Having a case work flow developer on board will ensure that Higgs & Sons also has greater integration with existing suppliers.”

Higgs & Sons works from two offices in the Black Country – Waterfront Business Park in Brierley Hill and Kingswinford. The firm employs over 200 people, which includes over 100 specialist lawyers.
