Wheel starts turning at Potters Way

Work has commenced at Persimmon Homes’ latest development in Farnham which will see the construction of twenty properties at the site on Wrecclesham Road.

Marketed as Potters Way, the development will offer a variety of three bedroom homes with parking, and it is expected that it will be popular with both established families and those looking to expand.

The properties have been carefully designed to complement the popular market town of Farnham and each house type has been named after a famous local potter to reflect their significance in the area.

Combining stylish design with a convenient location, the development is ideally situated for commuting, local schools and shopping.

Persimmon Homes Southern sales and marketing director, Tracey Lee, said: “This intimate development offers the best of both worlds with all the benefits of small town living whilst being in close proximity to London for commuters.

“Excellent road links mean easy access to the surrounding areas via the A31 and with Farnham rail station close by, London’s Waterloo station can be reached in under an hour. With a variety of different property styles to choose from, there is sure to be something to suit everyone.”

Properties are already proving popular with buyers recognising the benefits of buying off plan. Tracey adds: “The marketing suite on site is now open to give potential buyers the chance to reserve early and benefit from being able to choose their preferred property and plot within the development. Buying early also offers buyers the added luxury of personalising their home and putting their own individual mark on the property.

“We have already sold four properties, and interest in the new Help to Buy initiative, announced during this year’s budget, is very high. Under the scheme, purchasers need a minimum of five per cent deposit combined with an equity loan from the Government, which is interest free for the first five years, equating to 20 per cent of the property’s value. A mortgage is then secured on the remaining 75 per cent.

“Alternatively those who need to sell their current home will appreciate the ease of the Persimmon Part Exchange schemes. With Home Change, Persimmon helps purchasers sell their existing home and, for those that qualify, Part Exchange allows purchasers to move quickly and easily, without the worry and headache of finding a buyer.”

The show home at Potters Way is due to open in August. For further information visit the marketing suite on Wrecclesham Road in Farnham from Thursday to Monday 10am to 5pm, call 0843 357 6677 or visit www.persimmonhomes.com and choose the development from the drop down list.
