Luxury housebuilder lends a helping hand to local school

The UK’s leading housebuilder Charles Church is giving FenwickPrimary School a boost by donating £100 towards their upcoming Fundraising Casino night.

The event, which will take place this Saturday (5th October) from 7.30pm at the John Fulton Hall near the primary school, is organised the by school’s Parent Council.

The event organisers say they are delighted to have the backing of Charles Church. Debbie Duncan of the Fenwick Primary School Parent Council said: “We are very grateful to Charles Church for helping to fund the event. It is really important to put on events like this to raise money for the school.

“Very little funding for the school comes from the local authority. So the children depend on the money raised by the parent council for things like school trips, playground equipment, and even new computers, things that many other schools don’t have to worry about.

“We’re expecting around 100 local people to attend the fundraiser where there will be a whole host of games and entertainment including bingo, raffles, auctions, card games and much more. Every penny raised on the night will go directly to the school.”

On why they chose to contact Charles Church for sponsorship Debbie said: “We wanted companies who have a great presence locally to get involved, and with their stunning RowallanCastle development just ten minutes away, Charles Church was the perfect choice.”

And the luxury housebuilder were more than happy to help. Lorraine Clelland, Sales Director at Charles Church East Scotland said: “Charles Church is committed to helping local communities and it’s a pleasure to contribute to the FenwickPrimary School’s fundraiser. I am sure an impressive amount of money will be raised which will go towards projects that will benefit the pupils of the school.

Rowallan Castle is a prestigious development comprising of thirty-five luxury five and six bedroom homes. The stunning development sits on the edge of a championship golf course and right in the shadow of the historic castle itself. Its central position to road and rail links makes easy access to Glasgow and beyond.
