A West Yorkshire house builder has successfully secured a 13 acre site in Whinmoor, Leeds.
Persimmon Homes, is proposing to build 196 homes as its latest development off the A64 York Road, providing much-needed places to live for local people and families.
The house builder is delighted with its latest announcement, named Woodlands, as Simon Whalley, sales director at Persimmon Homes West Yorkshire, explained.
He said: “This announcement is an integral part of our expansion programme and we are delighted to be able to bring new houses to the area.
“Woodlands will provide a mix of two, three and four bedroom homes, suitable as first-time buyer starter homes through to larger properties for growing families.”
The development is conveniently located for schools and local amenities and is just five miles from the city centre. With easy access to the M1 and A1M, Woodlands will be appealing to both Leeds and York commuters.
“At Persimmon we take pride in all we do from choosing the locations we build, to the standard of workmanship and the service we provide to our customers both during and after they purchase a home from us.
“With support available, through various schemes and initiatives including Help to Buy, we are able to offer potential purchasers the right house to meet their budget.” added Simon.
Properties at Woodlands will be released to purchase off-plan this January enabling buyers to secure their preferred property and location within the development.
