Charles Church goes large in Selby

Prestigious housebuilder Charles Church is bringing a sense of grandeur to Selby by launching an exclusive new development of just 20 large family homes.

The Plantation @ Staynor Manor, off Bawtry Road, is the first of three distinctive collections of properties, this one featuring just seven luxury four and five bedroom homes.

Two further collections, The Kitchen Garden and The Stables, will conclude the spacious family size development and are expected to be released later this year.

Kevin Thubron, sales director at Charles Church Yorkshire, said: “These luxury homes are being built in a style to reflect the grandeur of a 17th century hall which previously stood within the grounds.

“We are offering eight different house styles which will be built in stone and feature slate grey or red roof tiles, each epitomising the unmistakable quality and style that is synonymous with Charles Church homes.

“The spacious interior features a minimum of two bathrooms and most of the designs offer a family room in addition to the standard living and dining areas. Space is at a premium for families so we have made sure our smallest property is still generously laid out with a floor plan of 1,475 sq feet.”

The Planation @ Staynor Manor is situated to the south of the town centre with excellent road and railway links to Leeds, Hull and York.

The majority of the Charles Church development is surrounded by open green spaces. A series of sports fields are to be developed in the future to cater for the needs of the residents and neighbouring communities.

Prices are expected to begin at £264,999 for The Oakhurst, a four bedroom home with family room, large dining kitchen and master bedroom with en suite. The magnificent Hilliard and Turner house styles each boast five bedrooms, a study, two en-suites and a double garage in addition to the lounge, kitchen, dining room format and also either have a breakfast room or family room. These properties are anticipated to be in the region of £314,999.

“Properties are currently available to purchase off-plan and we are working towards handing over the keys to customers later this summer,” added Kevin.

“We are also offering a number of buying options, including the popular equity loan scheme Help to Buy which sees you own 100 per cent of your new home for just 80 per cent of the price – all you need is a five per cent deposit. Home Change is also available, where we assist you in selling your existing house, as well as Part Exchange, where we buy your old home for its full market value.”
