Buyers urged to hurry as development proves popular

Buyers are being urged to hurry if they want to live in a new housing development in the historic town of Bridgwater which is quickly proving popular with buyers.

Persimmon Homes Severn Valley is building Wren Gardens in the town offering a wide choice of homes for buyers. However it is the last time the builder will create a new development in the town and buyers are rushing to move in with five completions just before Christmas.

Nicola Reed: “You can already see that this site is developing a great community feel in this stunning rural location. We held a special launch weekend for our showhome last month which was very successful. It is now attracting a lot of potential buyers who are keen to visit and see the home for themselves.”

The developer is creating Wren Gardens following on from the success of The Swallows. It will be the last phase of housing to be built by Persimmon Homes at Stockmoor Village in Bridgwater.

Wren Gardens offers a range of two and three-bedroom homes together with five different styles of four-bedroom properties, ranging from a townhouse to an impressive detached home with its own study and double garage.

Nicola added: “It is easy to see why Wren Gardens is proving popular with buyers as it offers something a little different in it choice of properties, which helps to create a very attractive development.

“Bridgwater itself has a lot to offer and has a lively centre, with local produce alongside high street shops. At night there are plenty of charming pubs and restaurants, while the town also has its own cinema, showing the latest releases, and is home to an arts centre, ten-pin bowling alley and two museums.”

Many developments make the claim that they offer the ‘best of both worlds’, but in the case of Wren Gardens this great location offers excellent transport links and accessibility to some stunning coastline. Bridgwater is ideal for exploring the nearby Quantock Hills and Somerset levels whilst there is quick access to the A38 and M5, easily linking with Bristol and Exeter making it a great spot for commuters.

Nicola added: “Wren Gardens offers something for everyone including first-time buyers, young professionals, investors, downsizers and growing families. A lovely community feel is already developing here and we have a range of schemes available to help people move into their dream home.

“The Government-backed Help to Buy scheme is proving incredibly popular with buyers as only a 5% deposit is needed along with a 75% mortgage. The rest is made up with a 20% equity loan, which is interest and repayment free for the first five years.

“Other schemes available include Home Change, which can be used in conjunction with Help to Buy, were we market the home for you and pay your estate agent fees. Part Exchange is also available for those wanting to take the stress out of moving.”
