One of the country’s leading luxury house builders is celebrating this week after winning an appeal to build much needed new homes in Tewkesbury.
The decision to give Charles Church consent to build on the seven acre parcel of land South Beckford Road in Alderton was made by Tewkesbury Borough Council’s planning committee on 22nd May.
The planning application for the construction of 47 new one, two, three, four and five bedroom houses on the former agricultural land was approved after inspectors deemed that any possible negative impact which the development might have on the area would be outweighed by the benefits.
Andy Peters, Managing Director at Charles Church South Midlands, said: “We welcome the council’s decision to uphold our planning appeal and remain committed to building high quality homes in sought-after locations.
“All properties will offer the same level of quality and luxury living that has become synonymous with Charles Church, thanks to the attention to detail that is paid at every stage of the construction process.”
In addition to the new homes, Charles Church has made a commitment to provide over £100,000 to fund local facilities including sports pitches, schools, library and play area improvements.
