Norfolk business appoints sales executive

A Volkswagen retailer in Norfolk has taken on an extra sales executive to help  cope with the flourishing business.

Stuart Large, aged 47, joined Kings Lynn Volkswagen in January, bringing with him 20 years of experience in motor sales.

He began his working life as a self-employed builder for eight years, but  decided to make the move in to the motor industry after yearning for the lifestyle benefits of his friends in the trade.

At the age of 27, Stuart became a trainee sales advisor for a local used car dealership. He went on to work for BMW for 12 years before making the switch to Volkswagen. After two years of selling Volkswagens at Cookes of Fakenham, he decided to join the Kings Lynn retailer.

He said: “Volkswagen is such a respected brand; the reliability, quality and unbelievable value is second to none.

“I’m a people person so this role is perfect for me. I enjoy interacting with customers and the warm friendly atmosphere at Kings Lynn Volkswagen has made me feel right at home.

“The fact that every day is different is a bonus.”

Brand manager, Austin Seales said the company enjoyed an excellent year last year and is now building on that success.

“As a result we have been able to expand the team and take on Stuart who has already proven to be an asset to the company. We are delighted to have him on board and I am more than confident that his passion and drive will help to grow our business further.”
