Persimmon Homes North Midlands has appointed a new co-ordinator to run its popular Part Exchange scheme.
Sally Burnett, 43, from Derby, has been with the Leicester-based company for more than eight years and previously worked as a sales advisor.
She will now oversee Persimmon’s Part Exchange and Home Change schemes across each of the company’s developments in Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
Sally said: “I was delighted to be given this opportunity as I really enjoy working in the housing industry, particularly when I can help people’s property dreams come true.”
If people are eligible for the Part Exchange scheme, at least two valuations are organised before Persimmon purchases the buyer’s current home. They can then wait until their new build home is ready and they have moved in before Persimmon market and sell their old home.
Sally added: “I organise the Part Exchange valuations and liaise with the estate agents and push forward the process to help people buy the home of their dreams.
“It is a great scheme with no complicated chains and a guaranteed buyer, which takes the hassle away, plus there are no hidden marketing costs and you can move when you want to.”
Sally is also responsible for co-ordinating an assisted move scheme, Home Change. She said: “We use all our expertise and contacts to help people sell their current home using local estate agents.
“Again, we will arrange the valuations, agree a price and then market the property on their behalf. There are no estate agent fees or headaches as we take care of it all. Many buyers opt for this service as it can also be used in connection with the successful Government-backed Help to Buy where people only need a 5% deposit.”
