A leading West Midlands law firm has confirmed its position as one of the top practices in the region, according to the latest league tables from an industry bible.
Higgs & Sons has five top tier recommendations in the annual Legal 500 – widely recognised as the most authoritative research guide of leading law firms in the UK.
Pleasingly for Higgs, its family team went from 2nd tier to first, and was recognised for being ‘well run and easy to work with’ and collaborating closely with the firm’s commercial and other private client lawyers. Team head Philip Barnsley, according to the guide, gives ‘well-considered and appropriate advice’.
In the 2014 edition of Legal 500, the five top tier rankings were given to the firm’s family, commercial property, corporate & commercial, dispute resolution and personal tax, trusts & probate departments and it was ranked in 14 areas of practice.
