A junior football team have been holding their own in this year’s premier league whilst sporting their new winter kit, thanks to continued sponsorship from Persimmon North West.
Roach Dynamos Blacks under-13s have the housebuilder’s logo emblazoned across the back of their new black hoodie tops.
The donation follows on from last year’s support for the club’s under-12s side.
The lads train and play in Heywood, adjacent to the new Persimmon Homes development at Fairfield View on Sutherland Drive.
Dynamos manager Steve Cloran said: “The partnership between the team and the housebuilder couldn’t be more perfect.
“We are proud to have such a quality company as our kit sponsor and couldn’t be more grateful and I’m sure some of our players will turn out to be the Persimmon home owners of the future.”
Club treasurer Debbie Wright added: “As kit co-ordinator, I cannot stress enough how grateful the club is to receive a sponsorship from a local company like this. We are a self-funded club and rely heavily on businesses to sponsor new kits for our 18 teams.”
David Hodgson, sales director of Persimmon North West said: “We take great pleasure in working with the local community wherever we build, and the lads certainly look the part in their new winter kit.
“I wish the lads good luck and hope their success in the premier league continues.”
Fairfield View offers a range of two and three bedroom semi-detached and detached houses from just £110,995, with a number of schemes available – including Help To Buy and part exchange – to help get people moving into their new dream home quickly.
The development is the ideal location for families with a range of nursery, primary and secondary schools near-by. The area is surrounded by the woodlands of the Ashworth and Naden Valleys, abundant with wildlife and a diverse range of habitats and archaeological remnants, testament to the area’s rich heritage.
