High demand expected for new Hampshire homes

Charles Church South Coast is expecting a high demand for a small development of exclusive homes to be built in a Hampshire village.

The regional housebuilder is launching St John’s Wood, in North Baddesley, with a range of three, four and five-bedroom homes.

Mark Docherty, sales director, said: “We are expecting a lot of interest in this development because it will appeal to a wide cross section of buyers, from professional couples, to growing families and downsizers.

“We would urge people to visit the on-site marketing suite if they want to be certain of the best choice of plots as they are already attracting a lot of interest from people keen to reserve off-plan, before a single brick has been laid.

“St John’s Wood offers semi-rural living at its very best. It is a small development of just 37 homes in a lovely village, which is just three miles from Romsey and six miles from Southampton, so the commuter links are excellent.”

Properties start at just £292,995 for a practical three bedroom home with integral garage, additional parking and an en suite to the master bedroom.

The development backs onto stunning countryside but is also within walking distance of North Baddesley’s amenities, with Baddesley Common, and its wealth of wildlife, just under a mile away.

“It has never been a better time to move with schemes such as the Government-backed Help to Buy aiding people up the property ladder. The Government provides a 20% equity loan, which is interest and repayment free for the first five years, meaning buyers just need a 75% mortgage with a 5% deposit,” added Mark.

Other schemes include Home Change, which can be used with Help to Buy, where Charles Church market your home and pay your estate agent fees.  Part Exchange is also available.
