A leading builders merchant is celebrating two landmark branch anniversaries by giving charities and community groups the chance to build a brighter future in a special competition.

Selco Builders Warehouse is giving away £4,500 worth of building supplies and materials to charities and community groups in Bristol and Swansea.

The competition has been launched in conjunction with two landmark Selco anniversaries in September, which will be 25 and 20 years since the opening of their Swansea and Bristol branches respectively.

Entries must be received by September 9.
Chris Cunliffe, chief executive of Selco Builders Warehouse, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for charities and community groups in Bristol and Swansea.

“As a company, we are very proud to have a chance to make a huge difference to a charity or community group in each area and we look forward to receiving entries.”

As part of Selco’s celebrations, prices on key products are being rolled back to those in the 1990s when the two branches first opened.

Chris added: “We are delighted to peg prices back, giving customers some generous savings on popular products.”

Selco’s 37 branches in England and Wales supplies a massive range of building materials including doors, windows, insulation, roofing, heating, plumbing supplies, lighting, electrical products, kitchens, bathrooms and timber.

Branches also offer an in-branch café, trade counter services, direct-to-site delivery options and van size parking spaces, all designed to make it easier for tradespeople to get onto the job as soon as possible.

Tool and plant hire is also available across 23 branches in London and Nottingham.
