Six-generations of the Volkswagen Transporter will be on show for the first time at this year’s BusFest event, held at the Malvern Showground.

Volkswagen enthusiasts can compare the evolution of the iconic vehicle, which all began as a simple pencil sketch in 1947, as the brand reveals its brand new sixth-generation Transporter to visitors to the show between 4th and 6th September.

South Hereford Van Centre will host the impressive collection on its stand at the annual event and is looking forward to visitors seeing for themselves the vast array of enhancements to the renowned vehicle.

Charles Richards, head of business at South Hereford Van Centre, said: “Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles continually evolves its range to ensure it can meet the changing needs of its customers and the new Transporter is no exception.

“This eagerly awaited sixth-generation Transporter has only just arrived in our showroom and is already generating a lot of interest.

“This is our fourth appearance at the popular BusFest and as the event epitomises Volkswagen’s heritage we felt it was the perfect place to reveal the sixth-generation model’s host of new features.

“We also expect it is the very first time that the six generations of the Transporter have been lined up together.”

The distinctive sixth-generation Transporter boasts a sharper and more refined appearance with more efficient engines, a host of safety, comfort and convenience  features and the widest range of engine, transmission and trim level options ever offered by Volkswagen.

In addition to the arrival of the Transporter panel van, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is also launching its new Transporter Shuttle, Caravelle, Caddy Life and Maxi vehicles and is taking orders for the latest California campervan with deliveries expected before the end of the year.
