South Staffordshire communications agency 8848 has expanded its senior team with the appointment of two highly experienced creative professionals to support its growing client portfolio.
Mike Lloyd, who has more than 20 years’ experience in creating brands for many of the region’s leading organisations including The Cube, Birmingham Airport and Birmingham’s Town Hall and Symphony Hall, has been appointed creative director and will work closely alongside the agency’s marketing team.
Mike said: “There is an ever-growing demand for companies to use creative communications agencies outside of London. 8848 has a fantastic and dedicated team of creative individuals and the client base is continually expanding.
“I’m looking forward to helping to build the agency’s presence and working with clients across the UK on national campaigns.”

Liz Collingridge joins 8848 from Connect Advertising and has been appointed as marketing manager. Liz brings 16 years’ marketing experience both in an agency and client-side environment, working with brands such as Bentley Motors, Aga-Rayburn, MG Motors and Floors2Go. Most recently she has developed marketing strategies to support new business activity for agencies.
