A new social media channel has taken the top spot on the Apple App store over the last few days and is being dubbed the ‘new Instagram’.
The app is called Vero and lets users share photos, add links, and recommend books, movies and TV shows to friends.
Vero will remain ad-free to compete with popular social media platforms which many feel have become too commercialised.
It’s the newest hype but several users have reported problems at an early stage resulting in negative reviews on the app store, which means Vero has got some work to do if it’s to maintain popularity.
