Check out Canva’s new features

Have you heard? Canva is introducing a series of new features! From ‘Beat Sync’ to ‘Magic  Design’ the new release of features includes multiple AI-powered tools and a new Brand Hub.

As always, when new features on widely used platforms are released, we get excited here at 8848 Agency. So sit back, grab a cuppa as we take you through Canva’s latest features.

Brand Hub

Brand Hub is a new space to centralise all of your brand’s assets, templates, colours, fonts and designs etc. The hub includes an area to add your brand guidelines, which all users can access. This space also makes accessing these elements whilst creating and editing designs really easy.

Beat Sync

Beat Sync allows you to auto-match a soundtrack to footage for a perfectly timed creation – and there’s nothing more satisfying!

Magic Design

Upload the image you want to use in a design and get refined templates made just for you. The image for this blog was created using this feature!

Magic Write

This feature uses AI to generate writing based on your prompts – perfect for if you’re in a writing slump.

Magic Eraser and Edit

Ever wanted to swap a product out with another? Magic Eraser and Edit allow you to erase and swap out details from an image using AI technology – it’s as simple as that!

Magic Presentation

We’ve used Magic Presentation to show you exactly what it does below. By using your prompts, this feature generates a first draft of your presentation with outlines, slides and content. All you need to do is give it a personal touch and tidy it up. This is great if you’re procrastinating the very first step.

Text to Image

Text to Image is similar to Magic Write as it brings words and phrases to life by using AI to create the perfect image.

Draw

This feature allows you to freehand draw, annotate and highlight designs with a variety of pen types and colours to choose from.

Animation

Now you can create your own animation using Canva by dragging elements across the screen to easily record the path you want your element to travel, whilst also being able to change direction and speed.

Translate

Last but by no means least, Canva has introduced Translate. Now you can choose from over 100 languages and convert your text easily whilst still in the design.

These features are still in Beta mode but we are already having so much fun creating content using them.
