House hunters can don hard hats to visit exclusive development

House hunters near Northampton are being encouraged to don hard hats and wellies to take a look at a new development that will ooze real country charm.

Peterborough-based housebuilder Charles Church East Midlands is creating an exclusive development in the quintessentially English village of Nassington.

Only nine homes are being built at Nassington Manor, in Woodnewton Road, with prices ranging from £264,995 to £729,995.

Despite the site being in the early stages of construction, the housebuilder is keen to let people see for themselves its stunning location and layout of the generous plots as the development starts to take shape.

A special Hard Hats and Wellies event is being staged on Saturday, November 2, which will give people the chance to get a real feel of what it will be like to live there and make sure they do not miss out on their dream home.

Cheryl Bissett, sales and marketing director for Charles Church East Midlands, said: “We are encouraging people to pre-register and make an appointment to come down to the site and really see what this beautiful location has to offer.

“It will be a delightful development and we urge buyers to hurry as they will sell quickly once people discover for themselves its country charm.

“Our plots are at varying stages of construction but some will be open for people to look around. The development comprises of one three-bedroom detached home, two four-bedroom detached homes, one five-bedroom house, four three-bedroom cottages and a detached bungalow. It is perfect for anyone wanting to relocate or release equity through a home move.”

The homes are being traditionally built with stone and slate and some will include features such as inglenook fireplaces, wood burning stoves, Belfast sinks and oak finish doors.

Cheryl added: “This prestigious development benefits from being close to Peterborough city centre and Northampton with all their restaurant and leisure facilities.

“It also has great commuter links with Nassington just five miles from the A1 giving easy access to the North, London and the South. There is also a regular bus service stopping at the village between Oundle and Peterborough while the nearest railway station is only around eight miles away.

“The village boasts a 13th Century Manor House and Tithe Barn and was featured in an episode of Time Team when they tried to excavate King Cnut’s Manor.

“It is easy to see why people want to live here as there is a thriving village community with a parish church, clubs and societies including a popular cricket club, a busy village hall and a junior school. It has everything you would want in a typically English village.

“Buyers with a home to sell can also take advantage of our instant Part Exchange scheme. We aim to take the stress out of moving as there are no hidden marketing costs and no chains to break and people are welcome to ask for more details.

Help to Buy is also available and is proving incredibly popular as only a five per cent deposit is needed. Under the scheme, purchasers will receive a 20 per cent Government equity loan, which means only a 75 per cent mortgage needs to be secured.”
