A Wrexham retailer has boosted its senior management and sales team to meet the growing needs of the business.
Wrexham Volkswagen Van Centre has appointed sales manager, Alan Austin, to lead the site and he’s joined by Mike Davies (23) from Wrexham, who will form part of the sales team.
Alan, from Gresford, has almost 40 years of automotive experience, having started in 1973 as an administrator. He’s since carried out various roles including sales executive, sales manager and area operations manager.
The 55-year-old said: “I am delighted to be taking on this new role. It’s going to be a challenge, but one that I’m looking forward to.
“My aim is to continually develop the exceptional level of service that customers expect.
“Our new sales team is now in place to drive sales forward, making sure that customers are offered the right service and advice, whatever their reason for visiting or getting in touch.”
Alan continued: “Mike is a valuable addition to the team and will compliment the sales team currently in place at the van centre.”
