Volkswagen Van Centre (Bury St Edmunds) recently celebrated its official opening with a VIP party for customers and business colleagues.
The Volkswagen van centre on Northern Way has undergone a £150,000 transformation bringing employment to the area with future new appointments expected later this year.
Volkswagen Van Centre Bury St Edmunds offers motorists the complete range of both new and used Volkswagen vans including the lifestyle range which features the highly popular California Campervan.
The business, which opened towards the end of 2010, has been establishing new and serving existing customers while working closely with its Ipswich site, Wolsey Van Centre. It is delighted with its initial success as head of business, David Nichols, explained.
He said: “We have received a very positive response from businesses and customers in the area and I believe this is down to our small but dedicated team. We are presently looking at recruiting a new salesman to help meet business demand.”
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle’s managing director, Simon Elliot officially opened the Volkswagen van centre and congratulated the team on its early achievements and wished them success for the future.
David added: “We were delighted to celebrate our official opening with key individuals from Volkswagen as well as the management team from our owners, the Marriott Motor Group, and most importantly our customers.”
The new state-of the-art showroom features five vehicles and the aftersales facilities provide commercial vehicle customers with servicing, repairs and MOTs six days a week.
The arrival of Volkswagen Van Centre Bury St Edmunds continues to strengthen the presence of the Marriott Motor Group across Suffolk and Norfolk, which following its recent acquisition of Kings Lynn Volkswagen and Van Centre, boasts a total of four Volkswagen passenger cars sites, three Audi businesses and three Volkswagen Van Centres.
