Hot on the heels of being named Law Firm of the Year at the Birmingham Law Society Legal Awards, Higgs & Sons is celebrating once again after being nominated for a further award.
The Black Country law firm has been shortlisted as the regional law firm of the year in the prestigious Lawyer Awards 2011. The Lawyer is the legal sector’s leading publication and the awards celebrate excellence in the profession across private practice, the public sector, commerce and industry and the Bar.
Ian Shovlin, Higgs’ senior partner, is thrilled. “These trophies are some of the most sought after in the legal profession, so to be shortlisted, is praise indeed.

According to the judges of the Birmingham Law Society Legal Awards, Higgs demonstrated a “commitment to excellence and a strong focus on people, both internal staff and external clients”.
