A Hereford Volkswagen retailer has boosted its senior management team with the appointment of a new sales manager.
Tom Lyons has taken the helm at South Hereford Garages after just 12 months as the assistant manager.
The 27-year-old from Hereford began his automotive career at the Volkswagen site back in 2001 as a salesman. He later developed his sales expertise with other leading automotive brands in the area before returning to the Roman Road retailer.
Tom swiftly progressed to the managerial role and increased his team from five to seven to meet business demand.
New recruits, James Booth and Simon Barton also from Hereford bring over 18 years of automotive sales experience between them and are now part of the extended Volkswagen team.
Speaking of his new role Tom said: “I am delighted to have the opportunity of returning to South Hereford Garages.
“The company has strong values on service, professionalism and reliability which is equally echoed across the Volkswagen brand. With the new team in place I am looking forward to growing the business and enhancing the high level of customer service that people have come to expect.”
