A Scunthorpe retailer has boosted its senior management and sales team to meet the growing needs of the business.
F Cross Volkswagen Van Centre has appointed Katy Stimson (36) and John Byatt (53) as the business continues to thrive.
John joins as a sales executive, bringing with him over 35 years’ experience in the automotive industry and brings to the role a skill rarely seen; he is a qualified sign language communicator.
His roles include storesman, sales rep and 28 years as a sales executive.
Katy, from Hatfield, has been worked for a variety of manufacturers since joining the motor industry eighteen years ago.
Her main role as business development executive, will be to establish and expand relationships with local businesses.
John said: “F Cross has an excellent reputation in the region and I’m thoroughly looking forward to my new role at the company.
“I think it’s important to have extra skills in any job and it’s rewarding when I can use my sign language proficiency to help customers.”
Katy added: “The Volkswagen brand has a superb reputation and I’m hoping to build new and strong relationships between the brand, F Cross and local businesses.”
