Charities and community groups in Eastbourne and Crawley are being invited to make the most of an £20,000 outdoor show stand for free, to help promote their events.
Eurovans Volkswagen Van Centre is inviting applications from organisations in the area that would benefit from using its 5 x 2 metre mobile unit at future events, as part of the van centre’s drive to increase its fundraising efforts.
Successful applicants will need to demonstrate how the unit will benefit the local community as Eurovans director, Bruce Smithson, explained.
“The outdoor show stand is a recent investment which we presently use at events around the county, however, it is not in use every weekend.
“The local community is very important to us and we are committed to offering our support where we can; therefore we are more than happy for the unit to be used for worthy causes.”
The mobile unit can be easily towed and features secure patio doors, a side awning and consist of two tables and eight chairs.
“All applications will be judged on the benefits it will bring to the community. We will also need to schedule its usage into our existing timetable of events.”
Charities and community groups are requested to send their application to Claire Lee at Eurovans on Eastbourne Road, Eastbourne or Overdene Drive, Crawley or email claire@eurovans.co.uk.
