A business in Wigan has announced its support for the North West Air Ambulance (NWAA).
Volkswagen retailer, Corkills, will be providing a collection of new and classic vehicles at the first ever German Classic Car show on Sunday 14th August at Haigh Hall in Wigan.
All proceeds from the family event will go towards the maintenance of the NWAA, which flies life-saving missions throughout the region seven days a week, 365 days a year.
The helicopter covers all major motorway incidents, along with areas that have poor and restricted road access. On average, the NWAA is called out five times a day, rising up to ten in the summer.
In addition to providing vehicles such as the new Volkswagen Golf cabriolet and the soon to be launched Beetle, Corkills have made a £150 donation to the NWAA.
