Change at the top for Kings Lynn business

It’s a homecoming appointment for a business manager who has returned to his roots to head up an automotive business in Kings Lynn.

Austin Seales has accepted the role of brand manager at Kings Lynn Volkswagen, bringing with him over 15 years of experience.

The 34-year-old grew up in Swaffham but left the area to pursue his career working with a range of leading motoring manufacturers in the Norwich and the Suffolk area.

Under the new management Austin will be responsible for implementing new practices to strengthen the renowned Volkswagen business and enhance the service and sales for both new and existing customers.

Speaking of his appointment Austin said: “It is wonderful to be returning to such a  familiar area which holds many happy memories.

“I am looking forward to the fresh challenge and leading the Kings Lynn team to new successes.

“My first task is spending time getting to know all of the staff and customers. The Bergen Way showroom is the perfect site to showcase the growing Volkswagen brand and focus will be on delighting our customers every visit.”

Kings Lynn Volkswagen, which was purchased by the Marriot Motor Group earlier this year, now operates seven Audi and Volkswagen passenger car sites and three Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Van Centres across East Anglia.

Ian Woodward, group operations director for the Marriot Motor Group, said Austin’s appointment will strengthen the Volkswagen brand in Kings Lynn.

“Austin has a superb automotive track record; we believe his appointment will strengthen the brand in the Kings Lynn area and provide a bank of knowledge for everyone associated with the site.”
