An automotive business in Wigan has won a prestigious European award for its outstanding customer service.
Corkills Wigan has been recognised by Volkswagen Group to be amongst the top 100 aftersales service businesses on the continent.
The car retailer, which is based in Wallgate, received consistently excellent feedback from its customers throughout 2010.
Later this month, staff from the retailer will be flown out to Wolfsburg to attend The Volkswagen Service Quality Awards at the car manufacturer’s head office.
Speaking of the award, Corkills’ aftersales manager Alan Smith said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have secured this award. It highlights our commitment to the highest standards of customer service.

The Volkswagen Service Quality Awards are presented annually to businesses that provide excellent customer satisfaction.
