The Johnstone’s Paint Trophy has given fans from six different clubs extra cause for cheer, after their side’s goalscoring heroics entitled each supporter to a free Johnstone’s Paint Trophy goodie bag.
In an attempt to stimulate more goalmouth action this season, the trophy has decided to honour the top scoring side from each round, with Chesterfield, AFC Bournemouth, Southend United, Cheltenham Town, Brentford and Barnet all topping the list with three goals.
All supporters have to do to claim their prize is visit www.johnstonespainttrophy.com and download a ‘Just Rewards’ voucher book, before redeeming the appropriate coupon at their nearest Johnstone’s Leyland Decorating Centre, which can be located at www.paint247.co.uk.
The Johnstone’s Paint Trophy goodie bag is available for all fans of the highest scoring teams with any purchase of Johnstone’s, Leyland or Fat Hog products.
Goodie bags containing official footballs and other Johnstone’s Paint Trophy memorabilia as well as huge paint discounts will also be given away to supporters whenever their team celebrates a particularly memorable moment in the competition.
Sponsorship manager Teresa Hardwick said: “Our congratulations go to all five teams for netting three fantastic goals.
“We never have any shortage of goalmouth action, but thought it would be nice to reward the top scoring teams from each round and in doing so, offer a free prize to their fans.

The giveaway is just one of a series of incentives on offer for supporters this season, as part of the trophy’s ‘Just Rewards’ initiative.
