A Telford business has boosted its senior management team with the appointment of a new sales manager.
Grant Hickson accepted the role at Volkswagen retailer, Inchcape Telford, bringing with him 10 years automotive sales experience
The 32 year-old has joined just at the right time as the Volkswagen business prepares for a multi-million pound relocation to a brand new two acres site on Stafford Park Industrial Estate.
“I’m really excited about the prospect of working there, and that’s one of the reasons why I applied for this job,” said Grant.
“It’s will be huge development that will showcase the growing Volkswagen range. I currently have a team of five but hope to expand this to eight when the new premises open later this year.”
Grant has worked for the Inchcape Group for the past ten years and in that time has risen up the career ladder to hold the post of sales manager at two of the group’s other locations, Chester and Bridgnorth, before moving to Telford.
He presently lives in Whitchurch and is married with two children.
